Answer:

Obsidian- Extrusive igneous

Granite- Intrusive igneous

Conglomerate- Clastic sedimentary

Evaporite- Chemical sedimentary

Coal- Organic sedimentary

Marble- Metamorphic

Explanation:

1) Obsidian- This rocks are volcanic glasses formed naturally because of a felsic volcanic eruption. They are generally blackish in color and are found on the earth's surface, considered as an extrusive volcanic igneous rock.

2) Granite- This rocks are formed when hot intrusive magma undergoes crystallization under the earth's surface. The minerals are coarser due to the slow rate of cooling.

3) Conglomerate- It is a clastic sedimentary rock which is comprised of comparatively larger and circular rock fragments and these fragments are attached to one another with quartz or calcitic cements, that makes the rock hard.

4) Evaporite- This are formed when the water evaporates precipitating a certain type of mineral deposit such as the natural salt. They are considered as the chemical sedimentary rock.

5) Coal- It is an organic sedimentary rock that is formed from the ancient fossilized plants that were buried millions of years ago. They are very dark in color and are widely used to produce electricity. They are comprised of carbon compound.

6) Marble- It is a metamorphic rock, formed when calcite or dolomite rock undergoes changes due to the increasing temperature and pressure conditions.

How much sodium bicarbonate to raise alkalinity in pool.
almond37 [142]

Answer:

A rule of thumb is that 1.5 lbs. of baking soda per 10,000 gallons of water will raise alkalinity by about 10 ppm. If your pool's pH is tested below 7.2, add 3-4 pounds of baking soda. If you're new to adding pool chemicals, start by adding only one-half or three-fourths of the recommended amount.

If you start with 89.3 g no(g) and 28.6 g h2(g), find the theoretical yield of ammonia.
Tatiana [17]
Balanced equation:
2 NO + 5 H2 ------> 2 NH3 + 2 H2O

2 moles NO react with 5 moles H2 to produce 2 moles NH3

Molar mass of NO = 30.00 g/mol
86.3g NO = 86.3/30.00 = 2.877 moles of NO

This will require: 2.877*5 / 2 = 7.192 moles of H2

Molar mass of H2 = 2 g/mol
25.6g H2 = 25.6/2 = 12.7 mol H2.
You have excess H2 means the NO is limiting

From the balanced equation:
2 moles of NO will produce 2 moles of NH3
2.877 moles of NO will produce 2.877 moles of NH3

Molar mass NH3 = 17g/mol
Mass NH3 produced = 2.877 * 17 = 48.91g

Hence the yield is = 48.91 g ~ 49 g

How are plant and animal cells similar? How are they different? To answer these questions, make a list of the different organell
aleksley [76]

Answer:

A plant cell contains a large, singular vacuole that is used for storage and maintaining the shape of the cell. In contrast, animal cells have many, smaller vacuoles. Plant cells have a cell wall, as well as a cell membrane. In plants, the cell wall surrounds the cell membrane.
