The Universe has a hierarchy: structural stages, from the smallest of quantum particles to the largest of cosmic scaffolding, extending through the entirety of reality. Somewhere in the centre, the galaxies themselves lie.

The heat vaporization for methyl alcohol is 1100 kj/kg. It is 2257 KJ/Kg for water. Thus means that______________.
dusya [7]

Answer: B) Methyl alcohol requires less than half as much energy per kg to evaporate than water does

Explanation:

Latent heat of vaporization is the amount of heat required to convert 1 kilo gram of liquid into its vapor state without change in its temperature.

Heat of vaporization is more for water than for methyl alcohol which means more heat is required to convert from liquid to vapour form.

As the Heat of vaporization for methyl alcohol  (1100) is almost half as that of Heat of vaporization for water (2257) , it means  Methyl alcohol requires less than half as much energy per kg to evaporate than water does.

What causes Seafloor spreading
Rasek [7]
Sea floor spreading is caused by the continual injection of magma from the sea bed in between ridges found in mid-ocean. Injection of magma causes formation of new sea floor. Forces cause the sea floor on each side of the mid-ocean ridge to move in opposite directions, each side belonging to a different lithospheric plate. This process is continuous and results in an ever widening (spreading) sea floor at the expense of area lost elsewhere on the planet. Seafloor spreading ends when mid ocean ridges are subducted.

Consider two parallel wires where the magnitude of the left currentis 2 I0(io) and that of the right current is I0(io). Point A
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Explanation:

At the point midway between wires

magnetic field due to wire having current 2I₀

= 10⁻⁷ x 2 x2I₀ / r     where 2r is the distance between wires .

magnetic field due to wire having current I₀

= 10⁻⁷ x 4 I₀ / r

magnetic field due to wire having current I₀

= 10⁻⁷ x 2I₀ / r

= 10⁻⁷ x 2 I₀ / r     where 2r is the distance between wires .

these fields are in opposite direction as direction of current is same in both .

net magnetic field = (4 - 2 )x 10⁻⁷ x I₀ / r

= 2 x 10⁻⁷ x  I₀ / r

At point A net magnetic field = 2 x 10⁻⁷ x  I₀ / r

At point B , we shall calculate magnetic field

magnetic field due to nearer wire having current  2 I₀ = 10⁻⁷ x 4 I₀ / r

magnetic field due to wire far away = 10⁻⁷ x 2 I₀ / 3r

These magnetic fields act in the same direction so they will add up

net magnetic field = [ (4 I₀ / r)  + (2 I₀ / 3r) ] x 10⁻⁷

= (14 I₀ / 3r ) x 10⁻⁷

Magnetic field at point B = (14 I₀ / 3r ) x 10⁻⁷

Ratio of field at A and B

= 3 / 7 . Ans
