The vertical forces add up to zero.

The net force on the object is 60N to the right.

F = m • a

60N right = (10kg) • (a)

a = (60N right) / (10kg)

a = 6 m/s^2 to the right

John throws a ball with a velocity of 30 m/s at an angle of 60 degrees. What is the horizontal component of the velocity?
umka21 [38]

The horizontal component of the velocity is equal to: D. 15 m/s.

Given the following data:

 • Velocity = 30 m/s
 • Angle = 60°

To determine the horizontal component of the velocity:

The horizontal component of the velocity represents the influence of velocity in displacing an object or projectile in the horizontal direction.

Mathematically, the horizontal component of velocity is given by the formula:

V_x = Vcos(\theta)

Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;

\\\\V_x = 30cos(60)\\\\V_x = 30 \times 0.5

Horizontal component, Vx = 15 m/s

All of the following shows density and buoyancy except:
Evgesh-ka [11]
The answer is B. the amount of hot soup contained in a bowl. Buoyancy is defined as the upward force exerted by a fluid on an object immersed in that fluid. Buoyancy and density are two factors that affect the downward and upward forces exerted on object that affect its ability to "float" or "sink". Only B does not have anything to do with such forces.

Explain the importance of units by
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

Look below

Explanation:

Units are very important. Let's say we were building an apartment. We used meters for every measurement except for 1 support where we used centimeters. This could lead to the collapse of the whole structure as the measurements were wrong. 100 meters and 100 centimeters are very different.
