What do you think people competed with one another to arrest the Marquis de Launay?
Helga [31]

He did not accept the request of the revolutionaries so they raged with him. It all happened at the fall of the Bastille which was a chaotic moment.

The revolutionaries butchered the prison guards and surrounded Launay. Though begging for mercy, the revolutionaries brutally stabbed from Launay repeatedly, before a crude butcher arrived and slashed de Launay's head with his machete, placing the commander's head on a spear and parading it across the district to the Hôtel de Ville, where his head was paraded and shown to the public along with that of Jacques de Flesselles

Is it fair or unfair that the president has the power to grant amnesty and give pardons? Why?
elixir [45]

Answer:

It is unfair that the president has the power to grant amnesty and give pardons.

Explanation:

According to me, i don't find this power of president to grant pardon and amnesty fair.

Granting Amnesty covers offenses related to politics while pardon is something that gives relief to the offender from the consequences of any alleged offense of which he has been convicted.

This act of granting amnesty and pardon can obstruct justice. I think granting the pardon or amnesty is a crime in itself. It really don't matter what the president's motive is but he must be careful in deciding that who is worthy of his mercy. It is totally unfair as it removes all consequences of a conviction of the offense and leave the conviction intact.

T/F the wind is blowing into the elevated circular sign (disk) at 20 m/s and the air is at 20 c neglect the drag on the pole and
krok68 [10]

The kinetic energy of the air travelling at 20m/s, which passes through

the circular area in 1 second is 5.4 x 10⁵ J.

What is kinetic energy?

The kinetic energy of an object is associated with its motion. It can be related to the mass and velocity as

K.E = 1/2 mv²

Given the wind is blowing directly towards the wind turbine at a speed of 20 m/s. At this wind speed, 7500 kg of air passes every second through the circular area swept out by the blades.

Substitute the values, we have

K.E = 1/2 x 7500 x (20)²

K.E = 15 x 10⁵ J

Hence, the kinetic energy of the air travelling at 20m/s, which passes through the circular area is 15 x 10⁵ J.

[NOTE: THIS IS AN INCOMPLETE QUESTION. THE CMPLETE QUESTION IS: the wind is blowing directly towards the wind turbine at a speed of 12 m/s. at this wind speed, 7500 kg of air passes every second through the circular area swept out by the blades. Calculate the kinetic energy of the air travelling at 12m/s, which passes through the circular area in 1 second.]

How is the constitution adaptable?
pogonyaev
The US Constitution is adaptable because the Founding Fathers deliberately made it relatively vague--meaning that they didn't get too specific because they knew it would have to endure in the future, when minds and society would be greatly different. It's also adaptable because it allows for amendments, which keep the document relevant with modern times.
