Mechanical
waves are oscillation of matter, they are important because they all
transfer energy from one place to another. There are 2 types of
mechanical waves. A transverse wave where the particles vibrate
perpendicular to the direction of energy travel and a longitudinal
wave where particle vibrations are parallel to the direction of the
energy transfer.

hope it helps, Regards.
Impulse: a certain amount of force you apply for an amount of time.
Impulse: F*t where F= Force & t=time
Momentum: increasing forward motion.
A ball rolling down a slide gains momentum
p=mv where m=mass and v=velocity
Hope it helps!

Add the KE increase and the work done against friction.
The final velocity is twice the average, or 3.0 m/s
The final KE is (1/2)*25*3^2 = 112.5 J
The friction work done is 6*3.8 = 22.8 J
hope this is correct
