Answer: 9 boxes

Step-by-step explanation: multiplying the 8 and one third by the number of tape rolls gets you 25, then divide that by 2 2/3 to get an answer of 9.375, and because you cant colse the box with the extra .375, you have to round down, getting you to your answer of 9.

Use interval notation to express the set of real numbers x that satisfies the inequality (x+2)(x-5) < 0.
azamat

The interval notation to express the set of real numbers x that satisfies the given inequality is -2<x<5. You also can represent it as (-2,5)

Inequality

It is an expression mathematical that represents a non-equal relationship between a number or another algebraic expression. Therefore, it is common the use following symbols: ≤ (less than or equal to), ≥ (greater than or equal to), < (less than), and > (greater than).

The solutions for inequalities can be given by: a graph in a number line or numbers.

For solving this exercise, it is necessary to find a number solution for the given inequality.

First, you should find the critical points of the inequality.

x+2=0

x = -2

and

x-5=0

x=5

Write, the intervals in between critical points. Therefore, -2<x<5.

Solve with the law of sine
Zinaida [17]

1) Triangle QRT, where q = 32.4 ft, r = 29.8 ft, t = 42.1 ft

No this cannot make a second triangle

2) Triangle ABC, where B = 62°, a = 11.52 m, c = 19.34 m

No this cannot make a second triangle

3) Both of the triangles cannot make a second triangle

How does law of sine work

The following is a detailed explanation of the sine law: In a triangle, side "a" divided by angle sine "a" equals side "b" divided by angle sine "b" equals side "c" divided by angle sine "c."

The formula for law of sine is written as

Sine A a = Sine B/ b = Sine C / c

These law helps in determining the given angles and sides

For the situation given; both cannot be used to make a second triangle
