What is the length of MN?

Mathematics
1 answer:
alexira [117]3 years ago
3 0

Answer:

MN = 6

This is because the shapes are dialations of each other

So PO and ML are the same side of the triangles but ML is dialated by a factor of 3.5 so that applies to the whole shape. So 21/3.5 = 6

Seth’s father is thinking of buying his son a six-month pass for $40. With the pass, matinees cost 1.00. If matinees are normall
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit his father to buy the pass is 2.8 times .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The price for six month pass = $ 40

The cost of matinees with the pass = $ 1.00

The cost of matinees without pass = $ 3.50

Now, According to question

If we take matinees per day for six months so, number of matinees = 6 × 30 = 180

So, The cost of matinees for six month with pass at the rate $ 1.00 each = 180 × $ 1 + $ 40

I.e The cost of matinees for six month with pass $ 220

Now, Again

The cost of matinees for six month without pass at the rate $ 3.50 each = 180 × $ 3.50

I.e The cost of matinees for six month without pass at the rate $ 3.50 each = $ 630

So, The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit = \frac{630}{220} = 2.8

Hence  The number of times Seth attend in order for the benefit his father to buy the pass is 2.8 times . Answer
