Think about a stalk of corn. You can see it has roots, a stalk, and leaves. You know it reproduces with pollen from the tassels

falling onto the silk of ears. You can’t see the cells in it without a microscope. What evidence could you gather just from the observation that a corn stalk is more likely to be made of eukaryotic cells and not prokaryotic cells?

Answer:

The cells of which the corn plant is made up of are eukaryotic cells.

EXPLANATION:

They have all the features such as nucleus and organelles such mitochondria and an endoplasmic reticulum. More primitive forms of life such as bacteria are prokaryotes and lack these things except they do have ribosomes like eukatyotes. Genetic information is processed differently in prokaryotes and eukaryotes but that is another question altogether.;)

"It is not the union that organizes the employees; it is management."
blsea [12.9K]

The statement<em> "it is not the union that organizes the employees; it is management "</em> means that :

  • The management creates the climate which allows the union to convince employees to accept union representation.

This excerpt shows that although the union helps in the organization of employees for better and easy management of staffs by the management, the management creates an enabling environment by creating stipulations which allows the u ions to convince staffs to join and accept union representation in staff welfare matters.

Hence we can conclude that, the management creates the climate which allows the union to convince employees to accept union representation.

The molar mass of H2O is 18.01 g/mol. The molar mass of O2 is 32.00 g/mol. What mass of H2O, ins grams, must react to produce 50
Ivan

Answer:

56.28 g

Explanation:

First change the grams of oxygen to moles.

(50.00 g)/(32.00 g/mol) = 1.5625 mol O₂

You have to use stoichiometry for the next part.  Looking at the equation, you can see that for every 2 moles of H₂O, 1 mole of O₂ is produced.  Convert from moles of O₂ to moles of H₂O using this relation.

(1.5625 mol O₂) × (2 mol H₂O/1 mol O₂) = 3.125 mol H₂O

Now convert moles of H₂O to grams.

(3.125 mol) × (18.01 g/mol) = 56.28125 g

Convert to significant figures.

56.28125 ≈ 56.28
