Okay, so we know the first triangle is an equilateral and the second is an isosceles. (the lines indicate congruence)

To find x, we have to figure out the other triangle's angles. 

Since it is equilateral, all its sides are 60 degrees.

All triangles angles add up to 180. 180/3= 60

To find x we subtract the angle beside it by 180 to find the angle's degree. 

180-60= 120. x= 120.

Since it is an isosceles, the last two angles are the same. 
Subtract the vertex from 180. 

180- 120= 60

Divide that by 2. (since there are two angles)
