Remember the formula of the area of a circle is:
V =  \pi * r^{2}
SO given that
V = 226.98
and \pi = 3.14
Plug in a chug
226.98 = 3.14 * r^{2}
r^{2}=  72.287
r = 8.50

Remember that d = 2 * r
d = 2 * 8.5 = 17
