Michelle learns in science class that simple machines such as an inclined plane can change the amount of force needed to lift he

avy objects. She decides to test this with an experiment.
Michelle chooses a 10 kg weight. She sets up a ramp made of smooth metal that makes an angle θ with the floor. She attaches a spring scale to the weight and the top of the ramp in order to hold the weight in place. She records the force from the spring scale, then changes θ and records it again. She repeats this several times.

In this experiment, what is the outcome variable (dependent variable)?

A.

the angle θ between the ramp and the ground

B.

the mass of the weight

C.

the material the ramp is made of

D.

the amount of force on the spring scale

PLEASE I NEED HELP ON THIS RN AND IT'S DUE TODAY!!!!!!!!

Maurinko [17]

Answer:

Using the coarse adjustment knob of the microscope in high power may lead to the breaking of the slide if adjusted and raised the slide too much which can damage the sample as well as the high power lens.

In this case, I would recommend using the fine adjustment knob and moving away from the end of the viewing area of the microscope so there would no collision take place. The fine adjustment will help to get a clear image.

How are the conditions at which phases are in equilibrium represented on a phase diagram?

Image result for How are the conditions at which phases are in equilibrium represented on a phase diagram?

Along the line between liquid and solid, the melting temperatures for different pressures can be found. The junction of the three curves, called the triple point, represents the unique conditions under which all three phases exist in equilibrium together. Phase diagrams are specific for each substance and mixture.

Calculate the number of molecules in 210 grams of H2O
spin [16.1K]
H2O=18.01g/mole. 210g divided by 18.01g/mole=11.653mole. 1 mole has 6.22x10^23 molecules. So there is 11.653x(6.22x10^23) molecules. Just multiply 11.653 by 6.22. Then put it as answerx10^23 molecules
