The speed at which a light aircraft can take off is 120 km/h. (A) What is the minimum constant acceleration required for the pla
kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

A) a = 2.31[m/s^2]; B) t = 14.4 [s]

Explanation:

We can solve this problem using the kinematic equations, but firts we must identify the data:

Vf= final velocity = take off velocity = 120[km/h]

Vi= initial velocity = 0, because the plane starts to move from the rest.

dx= distance to run = 240 [m]

v_{f} ^{2} =v_{i} ^{2}+2*g*dx\\where:\\v_{f}=120[\frac{km}{h} ]*\frac{1hr}{3600sg} * \frac{1000m}{1km} =33.33[m/s]\\\\Replacing\\33.33^{2}=0+2*a*(240)\\ a=\frac{11108.88}{2*240}\\  a=2.31[m/s^2]\\

To find the time we must use another kinematic equation.

v_{f} =v_{i} +a*t\\replacing:\\33.33=0+(2.31*t)\\t=\frac{33.33}{2.31}\\ t=14.4[s]

A transform boundary occurs where two tectonic plates _____.?
gladu [14]

Where they slide over each other.

Transform boundaries are formed or occur when two plates slide past each other in a sideways motion.  They do not tear or crunch into each other (but the rock in between them may be ground up) and therefore none of the spectacular features are seen such as occur in divergent and convergent boundaries.

In a transform boundary, neither plate is added to at the boundary nor destroyed.  They are marked in some places by features like  stream beds that have been split in half and the two halves moved in opposite directions.

Rainbow [258]

Answer:

The force is 15N

Explanation:

The formula is Force= mass × velocity.

From the question mass is 5kg, velocity is 3m/s.

F= 5×3

F= 15Newton.

Therefore the force is 15N.

Dust particles in air have a typical mass of 5.0 x 10-16 kg. They undergo irregular motion due to collisions with air molecules.
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

Rms speed of the particle will be  38.68\times 10^8m/sec

Explanation:

We have given mass of the air particle m=5\times 10^{-16}kg

Gas constant R = 8.314 J/mol-K

Temperature is given T = 27^{\circ}C=273+27=300K

We have to find the root mean square speed of the particle

Which is given by v_{rms}=\sqrt{\frac{3RT}{m}}=\sqrt{\frac{3\times 8.314\times 300}{5\times 10^{-16}}}=38.68\times 10^8m/sec

So rms speed of the particle will be 38.68\times 10^8m/sec
