Answer:

v_{1}  = 19 m/s

Is there gravity in space? If so name one piece of evidence
Eddi Din [679]
There is gravity everywhere in space. In fact, it's how the moon orbits the Earth. Also, gravity in space assists the Earth to orbit the sun. These are caused by small areas of gravity. The term for this is called "microgravity".

I hope this helps!

An arrow is launched from a bow with an initial horizontal velocity of 40
Ivan

Answer:

V = (Vx^2 + Vy^2)^1/2 = (40^2 + 62^2)^1/2

V = 73.8 m/s

tan theta = Vy / Vx = 62/40 = 1.55

theta = 57.2 deg

The headlights of a typical truck are powered by a 12 V battery. What current do they draw if the resistance is 4.8 ohms?
vodomira [7]
Solve this using Olm's law, which relates current (C), voltage (V), and resistance (R). Olm's law says:
I \: (current ) ={\frac {V \: (voltage) }{R\:(resistance)}}

We are told that voltage, V = 12V, and resistance, R = 4.8 <span>Ω. Plug these values into the equation and solve for current:
</span>I = \frac{V}{R}\\&#10;I = \frac{12}{4.8}\\&#10;I = 2.5A&#10;&#10;
<span>-----
Answer: Current = 2.5 Amperes</span>
