Answer:

313.6N

Explanation:

Given parameters;

Mass of the body  = 50kg

Coefficient of friction = 0.64

Acceleration due to gravity  = 9.81m/s²

Unknown:

Minimum force needed to move the body = ?

Solution:

To move this body, the minimum force must overcome the frictional force. So, the value of force that equals to that of the frictional force will set the body in motion.

 Frictional force  = Umg

U is the coefficient of friction

m is the mass

g is the acceleration due to gravity

  Now insert the parameters and solve;

            Frictional force  = 0.64 x 50 x 9.8  = 313.6N

You will measure and record the time it takes the cart to travel certain distances, and then complete some calculations. In the
natka813 [3]

Answer:

Take the measurement of the distance (d) with a meter rule (in meters) and also measure the time (t) of the travel in seconds with a stopwatch.

question: What is the speed of the cart?

Explanation:

The speed of an object in motion is the distance covered by the object with respect to time, that is, the ratio of distance covered to the time taken to reach that distance.

Speed = distance / time

           = d (in meters m) / t (in seconds s) = m/s

Will these balloons be repelled or attracted? Why?
Aliun [14]
These balloons will be attracted, as you have shown in the picture, there are two positives, they are not in the same spot. when two of the same poles are put together, they rebel each other, since the two positive poles are not in the same area of the balloon, the balloons will attract each other. I hope this helps :)

What type of bond results from the side‑on overlap of orbitals?
Serga [27]

Answer:

A pi bond

Explanation:

A pi bond is a type of covalent bond that results from the formation of a molecular orbital by the side-to-side overlap of atomic orbitals along a plane perpendicular to a line connecting the nuclei of the atoms.

A worker is pushing a crate of tools up a ramp into a truck. The crate has a mass of 120 kg and is accelerating at a rate of 1.0
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

B) 0.493

Explanation:

First Crate

Formula: F=ma

120kg*1.05m/s^2= 126N

Second Crate

Formula: F=ma

3*120kg=360kg

360kg*0.71m/s^2=255.6

Find the ratio by dividing

120kg/255.6kg=0.4929

Round 0.4929=0.493

Hope this Helps!!
