Answer:

The brain controls what you think and feel, how you learn and remember, and the way you move and talk. But it also controls things you're less aware of, like the beating of your heart and the digestion of your food.  Think of the brain as a central computer that controls all the body's functions. The rest of the nervous system is like a network that relays messages back and forth from the brain to different parts of the body. It does this via the spinal cord, which runs from the brain down through the back. It contains threadlike nerves that branch out to every organ and body part.

A supertanker filled with oil has a total mass of 6.1 x108 kg. If the dimensions of the ship are those of a rectangular box 300
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

The bottom of the sea is 25 m below sea level.

Explanation:

Given data

Mass = 6.1 × 10^{8} \ kg

\rho_{sea} = 1020\  \frac{kg}{m^{3} }

We know that Buoyant force on the tank is equal to gravity force of the tank.

F_B = F_g

(\rho_{Fluid}) (g) (V_{disp}) = m g

(\rho_{Fluid})  (V_{disp}) = m

1020 × V_{disp} = 6.1 × 10^{8}

V_{disp} = 598039.21 m^{3}

We know that

V_{disp} = W × L × H

598039.21 = 300 × 80 × H

H = 25 m

Therefore the bottom of the sea is 25 m below sea level.

Can some one answer 4 for me and if u can't read it it says what can scientists learn by studying layers of rock in the Earth
ella [17]
They can learn more about Earth's history and environment. Studying rocks can also help scientists discover clues about what Earth was like millions of years ago. That can help them comprehend on our effects on the environment and its probable effects on humans.

The resultant of two forces acting on the same point simultaneously will be the greatest when the angle between them is:a) 180 d
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

0 degrees

Explanation:

Let F_1\ and\ F_2 are two forces. The resultant of two forces acting on the same point is given by :

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2+2F_1F_2\ cos\theta}

Where \theta is the angle between two forces

When \theta=0 i.e. when two forces are parallel to each other,

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2+2F_1F_2\ cos(0)}

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2+2F_1F_2}

When \theta=90^{\circ} i.e. when two forces are parallel to each other,

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2+F_1F_2\ cos(90)}

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2}

When \theta=180^{\circ} i.e. when two forces are parallel to each other,

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2+F_1F_2\ cos(180)}

F_R=\sqrt{F_1^2+F_2^2-2F_1F_2}

It is clear that the resultant of two forces acting on the same point simultaneously will be the greatest when the angle between them is 0 degrees. Hence, this is the required solution.

What is the role of the brain in helping an animal interact with its environment?
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

The nature of the environment and the animal's interaction with it determines much of the character of the brain.

Explanation:

In fact, most of what we would use to describe ourselves to others reflects this sort of information storage.   Much of this information is unique to the individual and hence may involve different mechanisms from those used for species-typical information storage.
