Calculate the volume of dry co2 produced at body temperature (37 ∘c) and 0.970 atm when 25.5 g of glucose is consumed in this re
katrin2010 [14]

I believe the balanced chemical equation is:

C6H12O6 (aq) + 6O2(g) ------> 6CO2(g) + 6H2O(l)

First calculate the moles of CO2 produced:

moles CO2 = 25.5 g C6H12O6 * (1 mol C6H12O6 / 180.15 g) * (6 mol CO2 / 1 mol C6H12O6)

moles CO2 = 0.8493 mol

Using PV = nRT from the ideal gas law:

<span>V = nRT  / P</span>

V = 0.8493 mol * 0.08205746 L atm / mol K * (37 + 273.15 K) / 0.970 atm

<span>V = 22.28 L</span>

How many valence electrons does this atom have? (Urgent)
serg [7]

Answer:

For example, atoms in Groups 1 and 2 have 1 and 2 valence electrons, respectively. Atoms in Groups 13 and 18 have 3 and 8 valence electrons, respectively. Valence electrons are responsible for the reactivity of an element. They determine how "willing" the elements are to bond with each other to form new compounds.

Explanation: it might be 18 my guess:)

bekas [8.4K]

First, let's explain the variables. F means force, m means mass, and a means acceleration. F is measured in Newotns [N], mass is measured in kilograms [kg], and acceleration in measured in meters per squared second [m/s²].

Now let's mover on the first problem.

Given

m = 1000 kg

a = 3 m/s²

According to the second law of Newton, the force is equal to the acceleration multiplied by the mass.

F = am\\F = 3 * 1000\\F = 3000 N

The answer is 3000 N.

The second problem is smiliar.

Given

m = 70 kg

F = 250 N

We use the same formula from before, and use a bit of algebra to adapat it to our needs.

F = ma\\\frac{F}{m} = a\\a = \frac{F}{m}\\a = \frac{250}{70} \\a = 24\frac{1}{7} m/s^{2}

The answer is 24 1/7 s/m^2.
