Well add the drinks together so you know the total 0.75+0.75+0.75=2.25
Subtract the total of the meal by the drinks 11.25-2.25=9
Divided by number of slices 9/3=3
One slice of pizza is $3

Answer:

I think it would be 5.25 because 11.25-9.75 is 10.5 and when you divide it by 2 it is 5.25.

Antonia incorrectly solves the equation −2(14−54a)=6 . Her work is shown below.
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

For the yes/no bit:

step 1: no

step 2: no

step 3: yes

step 4: yes

step 5: no

for the final answer bit: a = 2  3/5 (the last option)

Step-by-step explanation:

yes/no bit:

step 1 is wrong because she didn't multiply -\frac{5}{4}a by -2

step 2 is wrong because she subtracted 1/2 instead of adding it

step 3 is correct because 6 - 1/2 = 11/2

step 4 is correct because she correctly multiplied both sides by 4

step 5 is wrong because she added 5 instead of dividing by -5.

for the final answer bit, I've attached an image below with my working out. hope this helps!

The diameter of a human red blood cell is 0.000009 m. The diameter of a cold virus is 0.00000003 m Approximately how many times
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

D. 3*10^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the diameter of human red blood cell =  0.000009 m

diameter of a cold virus = 0.00000003 m

To know how many times as large is the diameter of a red blood cell as the diameter of a cold virus, we will take the ratio of the diameter of human red blood cell to that of a cold virus as shown;

diameter of human red blood cell/diameter of a cold virus = 0.000009 m/0.00000003 m

= 9*10^-6/3*10^-8

= 9/3 * 10^-6-(-8)

= 3 * 10^(-6+8)

= 3*10^2

Hence the diameter of a red blood cell is 3*10^2 larger than that of the cold virus
