The 3 major parts of the cell are :
Plasma Membrane - the outer covering of the cell that encloses the cytoplasm.
Cytoplasm - the jelly like matrix within the cell that contains the various organelles.
Nucleus - round and usually centrally placed structure that controls the various activities of the cell.

kherson [118]

Answer:

d=58m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Initial Speed U=12m/s

Time T=5.6s

Angle \theta=30

Generally the  Newton's equation for motion is mathematically given by

d=d'+ut+\frac{at^2}{2}

d=12cos30*5.6

d=58m

If a sound with frequency fs is produced by a source traveling along a line with speed vs. If an observer is traveling with spee
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

457.81 Hz

Explanation:

From the question, it is stated that it is a question under Doppler effect.

As a result, we use this form

fo = (c + vo) / (c - vs) × fs

fo = observed frequency by observer =?

c = speed of sound = 332 m/s

vo = velocity of observer relative to source = 45 m/s

vs = velocity of source relative to observer = - 46 m/s ( it is taking a negative sign because the velocity of the source is in opposite direction to the observer).

fs = frequency of sound wave by source = 459 Hz

By substituting the the values to the equation, we have

fo = (332 + 45) / (332 - (-46)) × 459

fo = (377/ 332 + 46) × 459

fo = (377/ 378) × 459

fo = 0.9974 × 459

fo = 457.81 Hz

a truck was traveling at 16.6 miles per second and accelerates at a rate of 2.0 meters per second squared how much time is requi
Ivan

A truck was traveling at 16.6 miles per second and accelerates at a rate of 2.0 meters per second squared then time is required for the truck to reach a speed of 25 miles per second is 6759 s.

Explanation:

Velocity is defined as the rate of change in displacement while acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity. Acceleration may be positive or negative. Acceleration is positive when the velocity of the object is increases and it is negative when velocity of the object is decreases. Negative acceleration is also called deceleration.

Mathematically

a = \frac{(v_{f} - v_{i})}{t}

Where a is the acceleration of the object, v_{f} is the final velocity of the object and  v_{i} is the initial velocity of the object. t is equal to time taken.

Given data:

v_{f} = 25 miles/s

v_{i} = 16.6 miles/s

a = 2.0 m/s²

t = ?

As velocities and acceleration given in different units, So we need to convert to obtain same units. Here we convert unit of acceleration  from m/s² to miles/s².

1 m/s² = 0.000621371192 miles/s²

2 m/s² = 0.00124274238 miles/s²

So,

a = 0.00124274238 miles/s²

Apply formula

a =\frac{v_{f} - v_{i}}{t}

t = \frac{(v_{f} - v_{i})}{a}

t = \frac{(25 - 16.6)}{0.00124274238}

t = 6759 s
