In metalli bonding the valence electrons are delocalised and form a “sea” of mobile electrons while the positive metal atoms are held together by the electrons moving around

The human eye contains a molecule called 11-cis-retinal that changes conformation when struck with light of sufficient energy. The change in conformation triggers a series of events that results in an electrical signal being sent to the brain. The minimum energy required to change the conformation of 11-cis-retinal within the eye is about 164 {\rm kJ}/{\rm mol}.

How many moles of glucose (C6H12O6) are in 1.5 liters of a 4.5 M C6H12O6 solution?
lisov135 [29]
Moles of glucose = Molarity x volume solution
                              = 4.5 x 1.5
                              = 6.75 moles.

Hope this helps, have a great day ahead!
