Insulin receptors regulate glucose level in blood. without that, glucose level would be uncontrolled/not normal (high/low) and it would be impossible to maintain homeostasis (stability) :P hope it will help.. :)
Blood would stop pumping around, and you would die. Even if your heart missed one beat (basically a heart attack) you could potentially die.

This may be a sebaceous cyst. This type of bump develops when sebaceous glands are blocked. Sebum builds up and a bump develops. This bump can feel hard to touch. Sebum is naturally produced, so there usually is not inflammation.
