Explanation:

Certain actions and/or their method can affect the environment, such as leaving the sink on while brushing your teeth or not turning off a light when you leave the room. I personally make decisions to prevent my association with Greenhouse gases by turning off lights when I leave a room, using minimal water, recycling, etc.

Answer:

Answers may vary. View explanation.

Explanation:

There are every day decisions that may add carbon dioxide to the environment.

Problems:

 • Burning of fossils fuels. Example: Using cars as transportation. The average car releases around 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year.
 • Deforestation. Carbon dioxide is released from dead organisms such as trees. Example: As of 2021, 15 billion trees are lost to deforestation.

Solutions:

 • Instead of taking your car to work or school, carpool with a friend. Riding your bike and taking the bus are also good solutions that help minimize carbon dioxide releases.
 • In spare your time, grab a couple of friends and plant some trees! Even planting just a few trees is a great start to help the planet.

Have a great day!

What do we call the amount of energy required to change from a liquid to a gas?
rewona [7]
Hello!

When something is a liquid then turns to a gas, this is known as evaporating so we would call it the heat of evaporation or also known as latent heat. Just remember liquid to gas is vapor!

I hope this helped!

How many grams are in 4.5 x 10^22 molecules of Ba(NO2)2
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

17 g Ba(NO₂)₂

General Formulas and Concepts:

Chemistry

 • Stoichiometry
 • Avogadro's Number - 6.022 × 10²³ atoms, molecules, formula units, etc.

Explanation:

Step 1: Define

4.5 × 10²² molecules Ba(NO₂)₂

Step 2: Define conversion

Molar Mass of Ba - 137.33 g/mol

Molar Mass of N - 14.01 g/mol

Molar Mass of O - 16.00 g/mol

Molar Mass of Ba(NO₂)₂ - 137.33 + 2(14.01) + 4(16.00) = 229.35 g/mol

Step 3: Dimensional Analysis

4.5 \cdot 10^{22} \ mc \ Ba(NO_2)_2(\frac{1 \ mol \ Ba(NO_2)_2}{6.022 \cdot 10^{23} \ mc \ Ba(NO_2)_2} )(\frac{229.35 \ g \ Ba(NO_2)_2}{1 \ mol \ Ba(NO_2)_2} )

= 17.1384 g Ba(NO₂)₂

Step 4: Check

We are given 2 sig figs. Follow sig fig rules.

17.1384 g Ba(NO₂)₂ ≈ 17 g Ba(NO₂)₂

True [87]

The result of the procedure is that the copper strip should go through oxidation.

How to explain the procedure?

The copper strip should be considered as the anode and the nail should be considered as the cathode.

The anode is the electrode of an electrochemical cell at which oxidation occurs. The anode should be + while the cathode should be negative. Both should be placed in the tank that should be filled with the electrolyte solution.

Each astronaut produces 8.8 x 10^2 g CO2 per day that must be removed from the air on the shuttle. If a typical shuttle mission
Sever21 [200]
The answer to this would be:

The shuttle can carry a maximum of 4 astronauts for one mission.

2 LiOH + CO2 -----> Li2CO3 + H2O

(3.50 × 10^4 g LiOH) (1 mol LiOH/ 24 g LiOH) ( 1 mol CO2 / 2 mol LiOH) ( 44 g CO2 /1 mol CO2) = 32, 083.33 g CO2

32, 083.33 g / 9 (8.8 × 10^2) = 4
