Explanation:

Certain actions and/or their method can affect the environment, such as leaving the sink on while brushing your teeth or not turning off a light when you leave the room. I personally make decisions to prevent my association with Greenhouse gases by turning off lights when I leave a room, using minimal water, recycling, etc.

Answers may vary. View explanation.

Explanation:

There are every day decisions that may add carbon dioxide to the environment.

Problems:

  • Burning of fossils fuels.  Example: Using cars as transportation. The average car releases around 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year.
  • Deforestation. Carbon dioxide is released from dead organisms such as trees. Example: As of 2021, 15 billion trees are lost to deforestation.

Solutions:

  • Instead of taking your car to work or school, carpool with a friend. Riding your bike and taking the bus are also good solutions that help minimize carbon dioxide releases.
  • In spare your time, grab a couple of friends and plant some trees! Even planting just a few trees is a great start to help the planet.

Have a great day!

Si se hace reaccionar CH3CH3 (etano) con cloro, en presencia de luz ultravioleta, los productos obtenidos en este paso son
Leni [432]

Answer:

La reacción de etano, CH₃CH₃ y cloro, Cl₂ en presencia de luz solar se conoce como reacción de halogenación.

Los radicales de cloro se forman cuando el cloro se expone a la luz solar a continuación;

Cl₂ → 2Cl *

Se forma un radical etano cuando el etano, C₂H₆ reacciona con un radical libre de cloro, Cl *, como sigue;

C₂H₆ + Cl → C₂H₅ * + HCl

Se forma un producto halogenado cuando un radical libre de etano reacciona con una molécula de cloro como sigue;

C₂H₅ * + Cl₂ → C₂H₅Cl + Cl *

Un producto halogenado puede reaccionar además con un radical libre para producir como sigue;

C₂H₅Cl + Cl * → C₂H₅Cl₂

Consider the equation for the formation of water. 2h2 o2 right arrow. 2h2o what is the theoretical yield of h2o if 130 g of h2o
Montano1993 [528]

The theoretical yield is the reaction yield that measures the product of the reaction from the conversion of the limiting reagent. The theoretical yield is 160 gm.

<h3>What is mass?</h3>

Mass or the theoretical yield is the result of the multiplication of mole and the molar mass of the compound.

The reaction between hydrogen and oxygen is shown as,

\rm 2H_{2} + O_{2} \rightarrow 2H_{2}O

Moles of water is calculated as:

\begin{aligned}\rm moles &= \rm \dfrac{mass}{molar\; mass}\\\\&= \dfrac{18}{2}\\\\&= 9\;\rm moles\end{aligned}

The theoretical yield of water is calculated as:

\begin{aligned}\rm \text{weight of water} &= \rm moles \times molar \; mass\\\\&= 9 \times 18\\\\&= 162 \;\rm gm\end{aligned}

Therefore, option D. 160 gm is the theoretical yield of water.
