in dimesional analysis, if an electric vehicle gets 4 miles/ kWh and the utility company charges 12 cents per kWh for charging i
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

The cost of driving this car is 33.33 miles per dollar.

Explanation:

Distance covered in 1 kilo watt-hour = 4 miles/kWh

Utility company charges  = 12 cents/kWh

The cost of driving this car in miles per cents:

\frac{ 4 miles/kWh}{12 cents/kWh}=\frac{1 miles}{3 cents}

1 cents = 0.01$

The cost of driving this car in miles per dollars:

\frac{1}{3} miles/cent=\frac{1 miles}{3\times 0.01\$}=33.33 miles/\$

___au2s3 ___h2 → ___au ___h2s
liberstina [14]
The best way to balance an equation is to balance one atom at a time.
You start with two Au atoms on the left, so you know the coefficient of Au on the right has to be 2. So at first we get,
Au2S3 + H2 --> 2Au + H2S
Then, notice you have 3 sulfur atoms on the left, so you need three on the right.
Our equation becomes
Au2S3 + H2 --> 2Au + 3H2S
Lastly, we now have six hydrogen atoms on the right, and only two on the left, so we assign a three to the H2 on the left
Au2S3 + 3H2 --> 2Au + 3H2S Is the balanced final equation.

If you burn 10 kilograms of wood in a fire (combustion) what is the weight of the products after the fire has finished burning t
sleet_krkn [62]

The answer is: the weight of products is is equal the weight of the wood plus the weight of oxygen that was used to burn that wood, so weigh of the product is greater than 10 kilograms.

Conservation of mass (mass is never lost or gained in chemical reactions), during chemical reaction no particles are created or destroyed, the atoms are rearranged from the reactants to the products.

In this example wood (mostly carbon) and oxygen are reactants and carbon dioxide (mostly) is product of reaction.
