Hello!

To find the surface area of a cylinder you use the equation

SA = 2 \pi rh + 2 \pi  r^{2}

SA is surface area
r is radius
h is height

Put in the values you know

SA = 2  \pi  9 * 19 + 2 \pi  9^{2}

Square the number

SA = 2 \pi  9 * 19 + 2 \pi  81

Multiply the 9, 19 and 2

SA = 342 \pi  + 2 \pi 81

Multiply the 2 and 81

SA = 342 \pi  + 162 \pi

Add

SA = 504 \pi

The answer is 504 \pi

Hope this helps!

shusha [124]

Answer:

0.6535

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that during a one-hour period twenty-five customers buy gasoline at this station.

Let X be the no of persons out of these 25 who pay by cash.

X has two outcomes and each trial is independent of other.

Hence X is binomial (n=25, p=0.40)

Required probability

= P(X\geq 10)\\=P(10)+P(11)+...+P(25)\\=\Sigma_{10}^{25}  25Cr (0.4)^r (1-0.4)^{25-r}

=0.6535
