PLS FAST!! WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!! 20 POINTS!! Imagine that your friend Mike has been using drugs and alcohol several times each
week. He realizes that substance use has damaged his friendships and led to bad grades. He wants to stop using drugs and alcohol and is looking for ways to connect with other people who do not use such substances. Consider the school and community activities available where you live and answer the following questions. What activities would you recommend for Mike?
Why would you recommend those activities?
Enjoying walks, talking with family, seeking professional help. i would recommend those activities because the first two help you realize what you’re missing out on, and the second one is to get proper help with becoming sober, safely.
I’d recommend that he starts enjoying time family and friends as well as focus on his studies like through tutoring or activities after school to keep him away from drugs. If the substance abuse cannot be handled through regular methods he should seek rehabilitation and therapy and counseling to help connect with others who do not enable substance abuse.
Why would you recommend those activities?
Distracting himself away from substance and surrounding himself with people who care for him can help him realize there is much more to life and through therapy and counseling he can meet others that are like him making him feel less alone.
