How do animals grow from food that was once the sun?

Health

All nutritional energy comes from the Sun: plants use chlorophyll to photosynthesize the Sun's energy into plant energy, and then animals either feed on plants for that energy or they feed on the animals that have eaten that plant energy. The food chain begins with the Sun and then the energy flows to producers. The chloroplasts collect energy from the sun and use carbon dioxide and water in the process called photosynthesis to produce sugars. Animals can make use of the sugars provided by the plants in their own cellular energy factories, the mitochondria. ... The energy cycle for life is fueled by the Sun.

The sport from italy in which players compete by tossing balls onto a field, trying to get closest to the pallina, is called?
ale4655 [162]

Bocce is the sport from Italy in which players compete by tossing balls onto a field, trying to get closest to the pallina.

In Sports Champions, bocce is a ball sport that is played. Italians play bocce, a game (played, with variation, in other countries as well.) Two contestants, or four competitors in two teams, alternately toss bocce (balls) onto a court in an effort to position their bocce as near to a target ball as possible (the pallino).

The court is often a level expanse of uncultivated soil, grass, or even asphalt, although Sports Champions ultimately incorporates more imaginative aspects. The play is broken up into frames. A little ball called a pallina is thrown into the empty court to begin each frame.

Then, in an effort to position their bocce balls as near to the pallino as possible, each player bowls or tosses four somewhat bigger bocce balls.
