Answer:

When we do multiple trials of the same experiment, we can make sure that our results are consistent and not altered by random events and are reliable. Multiple trials can be done at one time. E.g. If we were testing a new fertilizer, we could test it on lots of individual plants at the same time.

Hope that helped.x

icang [17]
Molar mass 496.4200 g/mol

Number of moles:

40 g x 1 mol / 496.4200 => 0.08057 moles

Volume in liters:

250.0 mL / 1000 => 0.25 L

Therefore:

M = moles / V

M = 0.08057 / 0.25

 = 0.32228 M

hope this helps!

Calculate the solubility of silver oxalate, ag2c2o4, in pure water. ksp = 1.0 × 10-11
aksik [14]
Answer is: the solubility of silver oxalate is <span>a. 1.4 × 10-4 m.
</span>

<span>Chemical reaction (dissociation) of silver oxalate in water:
Ag</span>₂C₂O₄(s) → 2Ag⁺(aq) + C₂O₄²⁻<span>(aq).
Ksp(Ag</span>₂C₂O₄) = [Ag⁺]²·[C₂O₄²⁻<span>].
[C</span>₂O₄²⁻] = x; solubility of oxalate ion.

[Ag⁺] = 2[C₂O₄²⁻<span>] = 2x
1.0·10</span>⁻¹¹ = (2x)² · x = 4x³.

x = ∛1.0·10⁻¹¹ ÷ 4.

x = 1.4·10⁻⁴ M.

How will each of the following affect the rate of the reaction, CO(g) + NO2(g) → CO2(g) + NO(g), if the rate law for the reactio
andre [41]

Answer:

Rate will increase by 3 times

Explanation:

According to the law of mass action:-

The rate of the reaction is directly proportional to the active concentration of the reactant which each are raised to the experimentally determined coefficients which are known as orders. The rate is determined by the slowest step in the reaction mechanics.

Order of in the mass action law is the coefficient which is raised to the active concentration of the reactants. It is experimentally determined and can be zero, positive negative or fractional.

The order of the whole reaction is the sum of the order of each reactant which is raised to its power in the rate law.

Given that:- Rate law = k[NO_2][CO]

Thus, if the pressure is increased from 0.2 atm to 0.6 atm, means 3 times, rate will also increases 3 times.

If 35 mL of a .5 m hydrochloric acid solution is required to neutralize 15 mL of a sodium hydroxide solution of unknown concentr
Aleksandr [31]

Answer: The molarity of the sodium hydroxide solution is 1.16 M.

Explanation:

Given: V_{1} = 35 mL,    M_{1} = 0.5 M

V_{2} = 15 mL,           M_{2} = ?

Formula used to calculate the molarity of the sodium hydroxide solution is as follows.

M_{1}V_{1} = M_{2}V_{2}

Substitute the values into above formula as follows.

M_{1}V_{1} = M_{2}V_{2}\\0.5 M \times 35 mL = M_{2} \times 15 mL\\M_{2} = \frac{0.5 M \times 35 mL}{15 mL}\\= 1.16 M

Thus, we can conclude that the molarity of the sodium hydroxide solution is 1.16 M.

¿Cuántos ml de alcohol contiene una lata de cerveza de 375 ml si tiene una concentración 4% v/v?
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

15 mL

Explanation:
