masha68 [24]

Answer:

Congress was concerned about how admitting it as a slave state would affect representation and the balance of power between states.

Explanation:

During that period, Missouri was a huge area that was called Missouri Territory and by 1819, there were enough people in part of that so it could be considered a state. But to be considered a state the Congress had to approve it.

In that period there was a struggle between free states and pro-slavery states the union wanted a balance between those two and the addition of a new state could ruin that balance.

The admission of Missouri would have added a slave state to the Senate and left northern non-slave states as a minority. This is the reason the application of Missouri caused a two-year debate.

Answer:

The answer is behaviourist.

Explanation:

The behaviourist aproach to psychology seeks to understand the motivation behind human and animal behaviour. This can be explained through an important branch of behaviourism called <u>operant conditioning</u><u>,</u> which states that individuals are more likely to repeat an action when it is reinforced, positively or negatively.

Why does students dropping out of school encourage others to dropout?
12345 [234]
Students dropping out of school want peer support. If there is someone who will dropout too then there is some justification for dropping out. John is dropping out. He wants Mike to dropout too. If Mike agrees then John will feel as though he made the right decision and that dropping out must be okay because Mike is going to drop out with me.

nignag [31]

Answer:

Latent

Explanation:

The primary goal of the welfare system was to provide temporary assistance to families in need. Unfortunately, the system has also fostered dependency. Functionalists would call this dependency a latent function of the welfare system.

Latent functions is the unintended functions of a phenomenon in a social system, For example, the welfare system was intended to provide temporary assistance and not foster dependence by its beneficiaries. However, dependency on aids by beneficiaries instead of working for survival has been a latent function of the welfare system.
