You considered the situation of moving a couch at a constant speed. You concluded that to move the couch at a constant speed, yo
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

The couch will remain stationary

Explanation:

Friction is the force that resist/opposes the motion. It is the force that has to e overcome before an object can move.

Since the frictional force of 50 N is required before the couch can move, applying 25 N can not overcome the frictional force of 50 N, so the couch will remain stationary.A force greater than 50 will be require to set the couch in motion

Un movil de masa 12Kg sobre el cual estan actuando varias fuerzas F_1=48N, F_2=60N y F_3=30N Calcular la aceleracion con la cual
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

F = 48N + 60N + 30N = 138N

Y por la segunda ley de Newton sabemos que:

F = m*a

fuerza igual a masa por aceleración.

Entonces la aceleración está dada por:

a = F/m = 138N/12kg = 11.5 m/s^2

2) Segundo caso, suponemos que F1 es opuesta a F2 y F3

En este caso, la fuerza neta será:

F = F2 + F3 - F1 = 60N + 30N - 48N = 42N

En este caso, la aceleración será:

a = 42N/12kg = 3.5 m/s^2

1. At the synaptic terminal, voltage-gated ______________ channels open, thereby stimulating the synaptic vesicles to release th
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Ion

Explanation:

At the synaptic terminal, voltage-gated ion channels open, thereby stimulating the synaptic vesicles to release the neurotransmitters by exocytosis.

These ion channels are the signaling molecules in neurons. They are the transmembrane proteins that form ion channels. The membrane potential changes the conformation of the channel proteins that regulates their opening and closing. These channels play an important role in neurotransmitter release in presynaptic nerve endings.

For example - Ca²⁺ gated ion channel.

Which accurately describes the behavior of sound and light in the vacuum of space?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

A vacuum doesn't contain a medium. Light, which is an electromagnetic
wave and doesn't require a medium, will travel there. Sound, which is a
mechanical wave and requires a medium, will not travel there.

(You can see the light of the sun and other stars, which travels to us through
space. Astronauts can't hear the sound of each others' voices when they're
standing together on the moon because there's no medium between them,
so they have to use radio even to go only a few feet.)
