Answer:

Light or visible light is electromagnetic radiation within the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is perceived by the human eye. Visible light is usually defined as having wavelengths in the range of 400–700 nanometres, between the infrared and the ultraviolet.

Here are the 7 from shortest to longest wavelength.

Violet - shortest wavelength, around 400-420 nanometers with highest frequency.

Indigo - 420 - 440 nm.

Blue - 440 - 490 nm.

Green - 490 - 570 nm.

Yellow - 570 - 585 nm.

Orange - 585 - 620 nm.

Red - longest wavelength, at around 620 - 780 nanometers with lowest frequency.

A 1569 kg car moves with a velocity of 15 m/s. What is its kinetic energy? Joules
Crank
Kinetic energy = 1/2 * mass * velocity^2

In this case,
KE = 1/2 * 1569 kg * (15 (m/s))^2 = 176,5 kN

A 7.0 mm -diameter copper ball is charged to 40 nC. What fraction of its electrons have been removed? The density of copper is 8
mylen [45]

Answer:

f = 2.6 \times 10^{-13}

Explanation:

Let the mass of copper ball is "m" gram

now the total number of copper atom present in the ball is given as

N = \frac{m}{29} \times 6.02 \times 10^{23}

now the total number of electrons in one copper atom is 29

so total number of electrons in given sample of copper ball is

N_e = m(6.02 \times 10^{29})

now diameter of the ball is 7.0 mm

density of the ball = 8900 kg/m^3

now we have

m = (\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3)(8900)

m = (\frac{4}{3}\pi(\frac{0.007}{2})^3)(8900)

m = 1.6 gram

now we have

N_e = 9.63 \times 10^{23}

now the charge on the copper ball is 40 nC

so the number of electrons removed

Q = ne

40 \times 10^{-9} = n(1.6 \times 10^{-19}

n = 2.5 \times 10^{11}

so the fraction of number of electrons removed is given as

f = \frac{n}{N_e}

f = \frac{2.5 \times 10^{11}}{9.63 \times 10^{23}}

f = 2.6 \times 10^{-13}

Help for physics
12345 [234]

Answer:

A. 5 m/s

Explanation:

From the graph, for the first 2 seconds, the graph is a straight line meaning that the slope is a constant.

Average speed of an object is the rate of change of position. Here, the position of the object changes from 0 m to 10 m for a time interval of 2 seconds.

The change in position (\Delta x) and time interval (\Delta t) are given as:

\Delta x=10-0=10\ m\\\Delta t=2-0=2\ s

Therefore, the average speed (s_{avg}) is given as the ratio of the total change in position and the time interval for the change.

s_{avg}=\frac{\Delta x}{\Delta t}=\frac{10-0}{2-0}=\frac{10}{2}=5\ m/s

Hence, the average speed is 5 m/s.
