Answer:

Angle B = 88

Angle C = 44

Step-by-step explanation:

X+48+(X-44)=180

Subtract 48 from both sides

X+48-48+(x-44)=180-48

X+(x-44)=132

2x-44+44=132+44

2x= 176

X=88

Angle A=48

Angle B =88

Angle C=44

(88-44)

88+44+48=180

Answer:

∠A = 48°

∠B = 48°

∠C = 84°

Explanation:

For C, it is parallel to A, so it would be the same sized angle. For context, all angles of a triangle add up to 180°, so you do; ∠A + ∠C and get 96°

Then you do, 180° - 96° to get 84°

So ∠C would be 84°

Sindrei [870]
60.44 is greater than 60.3
-you can see this when you subtract 60.3 from 60.44 this would leave a 0.11 which is a positive number.
-thus meaning 60.44 is larger/greater.

Describe two different ways that you could find the product 8 x 997 using mental math. Find the product and explain why your met
jolli1 [7]
One method is to round 997 up to 1000, multiply by 8, and then subtract 8 times 3. This would give you the solution of 7976.

Another method (Which I personally wouldn't use) is to recursively double 997. This is more difficult, although effective. After you double 997, double the resulting number, and then double the resulting number from that, you have the solution. This is because 2^3 is 8.

Look at this set of 5 numbers: 21471 By how much would the mode decrease if the number 1 were added to the set?
Fofino [41]

Answer:

  • Zero

Step-by-step explanation:

The mode is the number of most repeated data in the set.

Given set 2, 1, 4, 7, 1 has mode 1 (repeated twice).

If we add 1 to the set the mode will remain 1 as it will repeat three times, so the mode won't change.

There is no change in mode, so the mode decrease is zero.

1. Four times a number minus twenty-one is the same as six times
Ganezh [65]

Answer: -16

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number be y

Four times a number minus twenty-one can be written as:

(4 × y) - 21 = 4y - 21

Six times the number plus eleven can be written as:

(6 × y) + 11 = 6y + 11

Combining both equations will give:

4y - 21 = 6y + 11

4y - 6y = 11 + 21

-2y = 32

y = 32/-2

y = -16

The number is -16
