An odd number squared so let’s say 7 for example looks like this: 7^2. This just means 7x7. In elementary you learn the an odd number times an odd number is odd. This is the same. Therefore any odd number squared is an odd number.

Answer:

2(2n² + 2n) + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

(2n + 1)² can also written as

(2n + 1) × (2n + 1)

= 4n² + 2n + 2n + 1

= 4n² + 4n + 1

= 2(2n² + 2n) + 1

= an odd

Hence Proved!

Which shows one way to determine the factors of y3 – 9x2 + 5x – 45 by grouping
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

(x²+5)(x-9)

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming that you are asking to factor by grouping:

x³ - 9x² + 5x – 45

You can group:

x²(x-9) + 5(x-9)

and then combine the x² and 5:

(x²+5)(x-9)

If m∠ATB = 20°, m∠BTD = 72°, and m∠CTD = 38°, what is m∠ATC?
Ber [7]

Answer: m∠ATC = 54°

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, we know that:

m∠ATB = 20° and  m∠BTD = 72°

then we must have that the angle between A and D, is equal to the sum of the angles between A and B, and B and D, or:

m∠ATD = m∠ATB + m∠BTD = 20° + 72° = 92°

Now, we also know that m∠CTD = 38°

And the angle:

m∠ATC  will be equal to the angle between A and D, minus the angle between C and D, or:

m∠ATC = m∠ATD - m∠CTD = 92° - 38° = 54°
