Triangle area = 8 x 3/2

= 12

12 x 2 = 24cm^2 for 2 triangles

Height of rectangle must be found, so use pythag on triangle

a^2+ b^2 = c^2

16 + 9 =c^2

C=5

A= 5 x 12

= 60

60 x 3 triangles in total is 180cm^2

180cm^2 + 24cm^2 = 204cm^2

Ans: 204cm^2

Bess [88]

Answer:

x = \frac{2}{3}

x = \frac{2}{7}

Find the side length of a square with<br> area 16/49 square inches.
Likurg_2 [28]
Each side of a square is the same, so the area of a square is one side times another of the same length. In other words it's side x side or side2

This is where we get the term "square root".

s2 = 49
take the square root of each side
s = 7

The ratios of the measures of the angles of a triangle is 5:13:2. Find the measures of the angles
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

 45,  117,18

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of the three angles are

5:13:2

Multiply that by x

5x  13x  2x

The sum of the three angles is equal to 180.

5x+13x+2x = 180

Combine like terms

20x = 180

Divide by 20

20x/20 = 180/20

x = 9

The angles are

5x = 5*9 = 45

13x = 13*9 = 117

2x=2*9 = 18
