Type it into ur calculator as √175 and if you need radical form it’ll be 5√7 or just 13.2 (13.2287565553)

So first you have you find the factors of 175 you still keeping your square root though.
After wards you then square root your 25 which will give you 5 and then you square root your 7 which will remain square root 7 then your answer will be 5 square root 7

Over [174]

Answer:

The price of pretzels in 1975 = $1.80

Step-by-step explanation:

To answer this question we are assuming the steady rate means linear.Let x be the year and y be the price.

We need to find the slope

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

 = (4.80-4.05)/(2015-2005)

 =.75/10

= .075

The slope is .075

We can use the point slope form of the equation

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y-4.80 = .075(x-2015)

Distribute

y - 4.80 = .075x -151.125

Add 4.80 to each side

y - 4.80+4.80 = .075x -151.125+4.80

y = .075 x - 146.325

We want to find out how much pretzels were in 1975. Put in x=1975

y = .075(1975) -146.325

y = 148.125-146.325

y=1.80

Calculate the perimeter and area of the triangle formed by the coordinates K (-4,-1) ,L(-2, 2), and M (3,-1).
Y_Kistochka [10]

Perimeter = 16.4 units

Using the heron's formula, Area ≈ 10.4 units².

What is the Heron's Formula?

The heron's formula is used to find the area of a triangle with known side lengths of all its three sides, a, b, and c. The heron's formula is given as: Area = √[s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)], where s = half the perimeter of the triangle

s = (a + b + c)/2.

Given the following:

K (-4,-1) ,

L(-2, 2),

M (3,-1)

Use the distance formula, d = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2}, to find KL, LM, and KM.

KL = √[(−2−(−4))² + (2−(−1))²]

KL = √13 ≈ 3.6 units

LM = √[(−2−3)² + (2−(−1))²]

LM = √34 = 5.8 units

KM = √[(−4−3)² + (−1−(−1))²]

KM = √49 = 7 units

Perimeter = 3.6 + 5.8 + 7 = 16.4 units

Semi-perimeter (s) = 1/2(16.4) = 8.2 units

KL = a ≈ 3.6 units

LM = b = 5.8 units

KM = c = 7 units

s = 8.2

Plug in the values into √[s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)]

Area = √[8.2(8.2 - 3.6)(8.2 - 5.8)(8.2 - 7)]

Area = √[8.2(4.6)(2.4)(1.2)]

Area = √108.6336

Area ≈ 10.4 units²

If f (x) = x² - 7, evaluate the following: f(12) f(-7)
Julli [10]

Answer: f(12) = 137, f(-7) = 42

Step-by-step explanation: In a function, what you want to do is plug in the value they give you for x. This means you substitute x with the value they are looking for.

In this case, they are looking at 12 and -7. Let's do 12 first.

The equation becomes (12^2) - 7. 12^2 is 144, and 144-7 is 137.

Now we do -7. The equation becomes (-7)^2 - 7. -7^2 is 49, and 49 - 7 is 42.

Hope this helped!
