Answer:

    I sometimes use a tissue when blowing my nose, I mean, my organs are made up of cells and tissue. I am also a multicellular organism, as I am made up of multiple cells; however, I am not a unicellular being, as, again, I am made up of multiple cells. I don't think I possess a xylem because I am not a plant, but plants do! They use them to transfer water around and stuff. Me being a human and all, I am a large system of different organs, tissue, and such.

The spherical side mirror on a car is convex and has a radius of curvature of 25 cm. Another car is following, 20 m behind the m
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

(D) 0.99 cm

Explanation:

Given that the radius of curvature of the mirror is 25 cm.

And another car is following which is behind the mirror of 20 m.

u=20m=2000cm

Focal length is half of the radius of curvature and it is negative for convex lens.

Now the mirror formula.

1/v+1/u=1/f

So,

1/v+1/2000=-1/(25/2)\\1/v=-1/2000-1/12.5\\v=-12.422cm

Now

Magnification is,

m=-v/u

So,

m=12.422/2000=0.00621

So, Height of the image

mh=0.00621\times 1.6 m\\mh=0.0099m\\mh=0.99cm

Therefore, the image height is 0.99 cm.

A student investigated how length affects resistance of a wire.
Mrac [35]

Answer:

X is ammeter and Y is voltmeter

Explanation:

The resistance of a wire is directly proportional to the length of the wire. That is the longer the length of the wire, the higher the resistance and the shorter the length of the wire, the smaller the resistance.

Ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the current in a circuit by connecting the meter in series with the circuit.

Ammeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the potential difference between two points by connecting the meter in parallel to the points.

Meter X is an ammeter since it is connected in series and meter Y is a voltmeter because it is connected in parallel.

What is the approximate weight of a 20-kg cannonball on earth?
disa [49]
The weight of an object is taken to be the force on the object due to gravity. The weight ( W ) is the product of the mass ( m ) of the object and the magnitude of the gravitational acceleration ( g ).
On Earth: g = 9.81 m/s²
m = 20 kg
W = m · g = 20 kg · 9.81 m/s² = 196.2 N

A thin insulating rod is bent into a semicircular arc of radius a, and a total electric charge Q is distributed uniformly along
storchak [24]

Answer:

v = \frac{kQ}{a}

Explanation:

We define the linear density of charge as:

\lambda = \frac{Q}{L}

     Where L is the rod's length, in this case the semicircle's length L = πr

The potential created at the center by an differential element of charge is:

dv = \frac{kdq}{r}

          where k is the coulomb's constant

                     r is the distance from dq to center of the circle

Thus.

v = \int_{}^{}\frac{kdq}{a}

v = \frac{k}{a}\int_{}^{}dq

v = \frac{kQ}{a}     Potential at the center of the semicircle

La tensión en newtons necesaria para que una onda transversal cuya longitud de onda es 3.33 cm vibre a razón de 625 ciclos por s
NemiM [27]

Answer:

9.34 N

Explanation:

First of all, we can calculate the speed of the wave in the string. This is given by the wave equation:

v=f \lambda

where

f is the frequency of the wave

\lambda is the wavelength

For the waves in this string we have:

f=625 Hz, since it completes 625 cycles per second

\lambda=3.33 cm = 0.033 m is the wavelength

So the speed of the wave is

v=(625)(0.0333)=20.6 m/s

The speed of the waves in a string is related to the tension in the string by

v=\sqrt{\frac{T}{\mu}} (1)

where

T is the tension in the string

\mu=\frac{m}{L} is the linear density

In this problem:

m=16.5 g = 16.5\cdot 10^{-3} kg is the mass of the string

L = 0.75 m is the its length

Solving the equation (1) for T, we find the tension:

T=\mu v^2 = \frac{m}{L} v^2 = \frac{16.5\cdot 10^{-3}}{0.75}(20.6)^2=9.34 N
