Final velocity = Vf=0
Initial velocity = Vi = 9.5m/s
Acceleration = a = -4.6m/s²
Time = t =?

Now use the formula;

Vf=Vi+at

0=9.5 - 4.6m/s²t

-9.5 = -4.6m/s²(t)

9.5/4.6 = t
T= 2.01s

I NEED HELP PLEASE THANKS! :)
Nady [450]

Answer:

0.962 s

Explanation:

Speed = frequency × wavelength

v = fλ

2.60 m/s = f (2.50 m)

f = 1.04 Hz

Period = 1 / frequency

T = 1/f

T = 1 / (1.04 Hz)

T = 0.962 s

A Viking ship roller coaster at the fair has a mass of 36,000 kg. If at its peak it reaches a height of 20 m off the ground, how
adell [148]

Answer:

7056 kJ

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of a ship roller coaster is 36,000 kg.

It reaches a height of 20 m off the ground

We need to find the gravitational potential energy does it have. The formula for the gravitational potential energy ios given by :

E = mgh

g is acceleration due to gravity

E = 36,000 kg × 9.8 m/s² × 20 m

= 7056000 J

or

E = 7056 kJ

So, it will have 7056 kJ of gravitational potential energy.

What is a convenient way to show how a fixed quantity is broken down into parts?
Marysya12 [62]
A convenient way to show how a fixed quantity is broken down into parts is by using a circle graph.

A circle graph shows different fixed parts in relation to the whole. All of the parts make up the whole.

Amanda studies a waveform. She labels parts of the waveform using variables (P,Q,R, and S), as shown in the image.
Ivan

Answer:

Q

Explanation:

To know which symbol defines the wavelength, we must know the definition of wavelength.

Wavelength can be defined as the distance between two successive crests (i.e the highest part) or troughs (the lowest part) of a wave.

Considering the diagram given above, Q shows the distance between two successive crests (i.e the highest part) of the wave. Therefore, Q is the wavelength of the wave given in the diagram above.
