Hi!
Basically, you will want to cross product your 20 moles of HCl with the number of moles in your H2 (so 1), with that and the number of moles in the HCl (2), you will find that 10 moles of H2 will form from 20 moles of HCl

How many grams will be produced
Anni [7]

Answer:

\Large \boxed{\sf 34.2 \ g}

Explanation:

Mole ratio

9:4

1.75:x

Moles of CO₂

\displaystyle \frac{4 \times 1.75}{9} =0.78

Use formula to find mass

\displaystyle moles=\frac{mass}{M_r}

Relative molecular mass of CO₂ = 12 + 16 × 2 = 44

\displaystyle 0.78=\frac{mass}{44}

mass=34.2

Hydrogen bonds are in the family of Van der Waals forces. They are weaker than ionic and covalent bonds but they cause interesti
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

The answer is B. Van der Waals forces are weaker than ionic and covalent bonds.

Explanation:

In general, if we arrange these molecular forces from the strongest to weakest, it would be like this:

Covalent bonds > Ionic bonds > Hydrogen bonds > Dipole-Dipole Interactions > Van der Waals forces

Covalent bonds are known to have the strongest and most stable bonds since they go deep and into the inter-molecular state. A diamond is an example of a compound with this characteristic bond.

Ionic bonds are the next strongest molecular bond following covalent bonds. This is due to the protons and electrons causing an electro-static force which results to the strong bonds. An example would be Sodium Chloride (NaCl), which when separated is Na⁺ and Cl⁻.

Van der Waals forces, also known as Dispersion forces, are the weakest type of molecular bonds. They are only formed through residual molecular attractions when molecules pass by each other. It doesn't even last long due to the uneven electron dispersion. It can be made stronger by adding more electrons in the molecule. This kind of molecular bonds appear in non-polar molecules such as carbon dioxide.

When 0.514 g of biphenyl (c12h10) undergoes comubustion in a bomb calorimeter, the temperature increases from 25.80 °c to 29.40
slava [35]
The  change  in  internal   energy  of the   combustion  of  biphenyl  in  Kj  is  calculated  as follows

  =heat  capacity of  bomb  calorimeter x  delta  T  where  delta T   is  change   in temperature
delta T  = 29.4  -25.8= 3.6 c

= 5.86 kj/c   x  3.6 c =  21.096  kj

Explain the meaning of the terms "saturated," "unsaturated," and "supersaturated"
dmitriy555 [2]
Saturated Solution: A solution with solute that dissolves until it is unable to dissolve anymore, leaving the undissolved substances at the bottom. Unsaturated Solution: A solution ( with less solute than the saturated solution )that completely dissolves, leaving no remaining substances. Supersaturated Solution.
