Answer:

The average heart beat in a lifetime is 2,365,200,00 beats.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;

An average human heart beats 60 times per minute.

If an average person lives to the age of 75.

Knowing that;

  • 1 hour has 60 minutes
  • 24 Hours in a day
  • 365 days in a year

Question to Answer;

How many times does the average heart beat in a lifetime.

Base to the question,

An average human heart beats 60 times per minute.

And there is 60 beats in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour,

Thus,

Heart beat per hour = 60 beats × 60 minutes = 3,600 beats per hour.

Thus,

The amount of beats in an hour by the number of hours in a day.

Heart beats per day = 3600 × 24 hours = 86,400 beats per day

Thus,

The number of days in a year is 365 in a year, but use the flat rate of 365 since that is generally the accepted answer.

Heart beat per year = 86,400 × 365 days = 31,536,000 beats per year

For this reason,

An average person lives to the age of 75,

Heart beat in a lifetime to age of 75 years,

= 31,536,000 × 75 years = 2,365,200,00 beats in a lifetime.

Hence, The average heart beat in a lifetime is 2,365,200,00 beats.

the answer is 12 because if you look at the position of the y axis when x equals 2 then look at the y value when x equals 4 you will get the 2 numbers 4 and 16 now subtract 16 by 4 and you get 12.

URGENT❗❗❗❗❗❗Elina is gathering up change she has saved. She has a total of $2.60. All of her change is in either nickles, dimes,
oee [108]

Let the number of nickels be = x

Let the number of dimes be = d

Let the number of quarter be = n

Given is, she has twice as many dimes as quarters

d=2n or n = 0.5d

She has two less quarters than nickles.

n= x-2 or

x= n+2

Total values of coins is = $2.60

0.05x+0.10d+0.25n=2.60

Now replace x with (n+2) and d with 2n

0.05(n+2)+0.10(2n)+0.25n=2.60

0.05n+0.10+0.20n+0.25n=2.60

0.50n+0.10=2.60

0.50n=2.50

n=5

Now x=n+2 ; x=5+2 = 7

d=2n ; d=2(5) = 10

Hence, Elina has 7 nickels, 10 dimes and 5 quarters.
