Anon25 [30]

Answer:Slippery Slope fallacies

Explanation:

Slippery Slope: a slippery slope is based on rejecting a series of action without sufficient evidence or with no evidence that they will cause a series of unfortunate or undesirable ends.

So one accepts before something happens that particular actions or situations are bound to create a very prolematic future. One accepts that the future is doomed without even evidence that these recent series of action will bring that.

"The more people that come here, the more our government will have to provide for them. The more our government doles out, the further in debt our nation will become, and this means the higher our taxes will become! The next thing we will find is that our economy will be in just as poor a condition as the one from which these immigrants came! These are the events that has not been fully proven but there at assumptions that as they are listed they may cause a very negative outcome.

Oscar would like to go to a movie without supervision. To try and get what he wants, he starts by asking his mom if he can go on
baherus [9]

Answer:

Door in face

Explanation:

In psychology, the door in face technique is a method of persuasion according to which the persuader tries to convince other person to comply to a large request (which the other person will likely say no to), then, the persuader makes a significantly smaller request and then the other person is likely to say yes.

It's been observed that using this technique the other person is most likely to accept the smaller request than if the request had been presented by its own at first (without the large request first).

In this example, Oscar wants to go to the movies by himself, however he asks his mom if he can go on a trip to the Rollercoaster Park and he already knows the answer will be no. We can see that Oscar is making a large request and that his mom will say no to this one, but this wasn't even what Oscar really wants to do. However, after this is asked, he asks if he can at least go to the movies by himself (and which is what he actually wanted to ask). This second request is significantly smaller than the first one and her mom says yes. Therefore, this is an example of the door-in-face technique.

irina [24]

Answer:

By carrying out interviews and examining the views of people who have experienced the phenomenon

Explanation:

Phenomenological researchers attempt to understand the universal nature of an experience "By carrying out interviews and examining the views of people who have experienced the phenomenon."

The above statement is true because Phenomenological research is a form of research in which researchers interviewed a group of people who have the actual experience of phenomenons under research, such as events, situations, or experiences.

The purpose of the interview is to know the experience of the individual in terms of the phenomenon being researched and the context in which such phenomenon influences their experiences.
