Julyssa is right.
We know this because in bidmas, multiplication comes first, so 4 x 4 is done first.
So 4 x 4 = 16
And 16 + 3 = 19

Answer: Julyssa is right

Step-by-step explanation: According to PEMDAS, multiplication goes first (before) addition so

100 POINTS+BRAINLIEST: 8TH GRADE MATH PT 3- Write equations by simplifying polynomials Tyyy
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

d. 3x + 6 = 26

Step-by-step explanation:

Definitions

  • Integer: a whole number that can be positive, negative or zero.
    e.g. ..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...
  • Even number: an integer that is exactly divisible by two. For example, 2, 4, 6, 8 are all positive even numbers.
  • Consecutive: following one after the other in order.

The sum of three consecutive even integers

Let x be the first even integer.

As there is a difference of 2 between consecutive even integers, the next even integer after x will be (x + 2).

Therefore, the next even integer after (x + 2) will be (x + 2) + 2 = (x + 4).

So "the sum of three consecutive even integers is twenty-six" is:

x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 26

To solve

⇒ x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 26

⇒ x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 26

⇒ 3x + 6 = 26

(Please note that there are no three consecutive even integers that sum to 26, so the problem cannot be solved).

Match the number with its opposite. Match Term Definition 9.2 A) 2.9 −2.9 B) −4.1 −1.4 C) −9.2 4.1 D) 1.4
jenyasd209 [6]

We have these opposite pairs

  • 9.2 and -9.2
  • 2.9 and -2.9
  • 1.4 and -1.4
  • 4.1 and -4.1

So all we're doing is matching each positive number with its negative version. In terms of a visual, the opposite of a number is mirrored over 0 on the number line. So for instance, the opposite of 2 is -2, with each being two units away from 0 on the number line.

Find the distance from the point to the given plane. (−8, 7, 6), x − 2y − 4z = 8
vlabodo [156]
The formula for the distance from a point (x, y, z) to the plane ax +by +cz +d = 0 is this:
.. distance = |ax +by +cz +d|/√(a^2 +b^2 +c^2)

For your point and plane, that is
.. distance = |-8 -2*7 -4*6 -8|/√(1^2 +2^2 +4^2)
.. = 54/√21
.. = (18/7)√21
