Ammonia compounds are bases in aqueous solution according to brønsted–lowry theory.

What are bases?

A base is a substance that can neutralize the acid by reacting with hydrogen ions.

Ammonia compounds are based on an aqueous solution according to brønsted–lowry theory because the water molecule donates a hydrogen ion to the ammonia, it is the Brønsted-Lowry acid, while the ammonia molecule which accepts the hydrogen ion is the Brønsted-Lowry base. Thus, ammonia acts as a base in both the Arrhenius sense and the Brønsted-Lowry sense.

Hence, ammonia compounds are based on an aqueous solution according to brønsted–lowry theory.

Which particle has the least mass
enyata [817]

Answer:

b. proton

Explanation:

The mass of an electron is only about 1/2000 the mass of a proton or neutron, so electrons contribute virtually nothing to the total mass of an atom. Electrons have an electric charge of −1, which is equal but opposite to the charge of a proton, which is +1.

liq [111]
Answer: The 1 kg of water will reach the lowest temperature

Both of the objects is water so their specific heat should be same. The heat removed from the 2kg of water which is 2 times of mass than the 1kg water. Since the heat removed, both of their temperatures will drops. But 2kg water temperature drops will be half of 1kg water.

select all that apply... Which of the following have energy stored as chemical energy? nuclear...petroleum...biomass...geotherma
d1i1m1o1n [39]
Petroleum and biomass are burned in combustion reactions, which liberate energy stored in chemical bonds. This is chemical energy. In contrast, nuclear energy comes from the conversion of mass into energy when an nuclear reaction occurs. Geothermal energy comes directly from heat sources underground, with no chemical or nuclear reactions.
