The mass of Jupitar is obtained from the calculations as 5.8 * 10^-14 Kg.

<h3>What is the mass of Jupitar?</h3>

There are nine planets in the solar system and the sun lies at the enter of our solar system. This is the heliocentric model of the solar system.

Given that;

T^2 = GMr^3/4π

T = period

G = gravitational constant

r = radius

M = mass of Jupitar

Now;

1 day = 86400 seconds

1.77 days = 1.77 days *  86400 seconds/1 day

= 152928 seconds

Making M the subject of the formula;

M =4πT^2/Gr^3

M = 4 * 3.142 * (152928)^2/6.67 × 10^-11 * (422 × 10^9)^3

M = 2.9 * 10^11/5.0 * 10^24

M = 5.8 * 10^-14 Kg

What is the average speed of an object that travels 6 meters in 2 seconds and then travels 3 meters in 1 second?
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

3 m/s

Explanation:

Average Speed = \frac{Total Distance}{Total time}

Plug in the numbers, it will be (6m + 3m) divided by (2s + 1s), which is 9m/3s, which equals to 3m/s.

The height (in meters) of a projectile shot vertically upward from a point 2 m above ground level with an initial velocity of 23
Burka [1]

Answer:

a) v(2) = 3.9\,\frac{m}{s}, b) v(4) = -15.7\,\frac{m}{s}

Explanation:

a) The equation for vertical velocity is obtained by deriving the function with respect to time:

v(t) = 23.5 -9.8\cdot t

The velocities at given instants are, respectivelly:

v(2) = 3.9\,\frac{m}{s}

v(4) = -15.7\,\frac{m}{s}

3 cases where kinetic energy become potential energy
finlep [7]
--  Toss a rock straight up.  The kinetic energy you give it
with your hand becomes potential energy as it rises.
Eventually, when its kinetic energy is completely changed
to potential energy, it stops rising.

--  When you're riding your bike and going really fast, you come
to the bottom of a hill.  You stop pedaling, and coast up the hill.
As your kinetic energy changes to potential energy, you coast
slower and slower.  Eventually, your energy is all potential, and
you stop coasting.

--  A little kid on a swing at the park.  The swing is going really fast
at the bottom of the arc, and then it starts rising.  As it rises, the
kinetic energy changes into potential energy, more and more as it
swings higher and higher.  Eventually it reaches a point where its
energy is all potential; then it stops rising, and begins falling again.
