15 number of division on Vernier scale and 12 cm on the main scale means 13.2 cm of the object thickness.

What is value of 15 division of Vernier scale generally?

A Vernier scale has 10 divisions and the total length of these 10 divisions is equal to the length of 9 divisions of the main scale that equals to 9 mm so in this way 15 number of division on Vernier scale means 14 divisions on the main scale which is equals to 14 mm and we know that there is 12 cm on the main scale so by adding 12 cm and 14 mm we get the 13.2 cm reading of the object thickness. Vernier caliper is a measuring device that comprise of a main scale and a sliding jaw with an attached Vernier.

So we can conclude that 15 number of division on Vernier scale and 12 cm on the main scale means 13.2 cm of the object thickness.

In what region of the electromagnetic spectrum is a photon found that possesses twice as much energy as one in the blue region (
iren2701 [21]
The answer is: ultraviolet The energy (E) of a photon is directly proportional to its frequency f, by Planck's formula: E = hf, where h is Planck's constant (6.625 * 10**-34 joule-second). The frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength w by: f = c/w, where c is the speed of light, 3.0 * 10**8 meters per second. Combine these formulas and we see that the energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength by: E = hc/w If the energy is inversely proportional to the wavelength, a photon with twice the energy has half the wavelength of our 442-nm. photon in this example. So its wavelength is 221 nm. which is in the ultraviolet range.

Using what you know about air pressure and the water cycle, explain how hurricanes form. Why are there certain places on Earth m
Yuki888 [10]
Hurricanes form when hot air and cold air start colliding above water and they start to form a tornado but there is water in the tornado. Certain places on earth are more susceptible to hurricanes because they are closer to the coastlines. For example, in Iowa, and Illinois, they have a lower chance of a hurricane, while Florida, and Washington have a higher rate because they are along the ocean. Hope this helps.
