If the ignition switch is moved from both to either left or right during an engine ground check, normal operation is usually indicated by a slight drop in RPM

The number of rotations in one minute is known as RPM revolutions per minute (abbreviated rpm, RPM, rev/min, r/min, or with the notation min1). It is a measure of rotational frequency or speed around a fixed axis.

Since there are 60 seconds in a minute and one revolution is 360 degrees, revolutions per minute RPM can be multiplied by 6 to get angular velocity in degrees per second. Since 6 times 1 is 6, the angular velocity in degrees per second if the rpm is 1 rpm would be 6 degrees per second.

A crane does 62,500 joules of work to lift a boulder a distance of 25.0 meters. How much did the boulder weight
alukav5142 [94]
Work = (force) x (distance)

62,500 joules = (boulder's weight) x (25 meters)

Divide each side by (25 meters) :

Boulder's weight = (62,500 joules) / (25 meters) = 2,500 newtons

That's about 562 pounds.
