No, you cannot be sure. Having the same mass percentage that contain carbon of a single element does not guarantee that the composition of each compound is the same.

What distinguishes substances in two ways from elements?

One atom serves as a representation of all the features of an element because an element only contains one type of atom. Compounds are made up of the same kinds of molecules as substances. Chemical reactions cannot degrade elements. Chemical processes can quickly decompose compounds into smaller ones.

Even if two substances have the same mass fraction of carbon, can they not still be the same?

No. The composition of the other elements may not be the same in compounds that include the same amount or proportion of another element. The only other two-part genuine compound is this one.

Why is the combined cycle power generation system so much more efficient that the straight steam cycle?
rewona [7]

Answer:

Because it uses the residual energy of the fluid used by the first engine.

Explanation:

A combined cycle power generation counts with two heat engines that work in tandem from the same source of heat. The engines turn the energy into mechanical energy.

The cycle is much more efficient than the other, almost 60% more.

Power is the rate at which energy is?
Mrrafil [7]
In physics, power is the rate of doing work. It is the amount of energy consumed per unit time. Having no direction, it is a scalar quantity. In the SI system, the unit of power is the joule per second (J/s), known as the watt in honour of James Watt, the eighteenth-century developer of the steam engine.
