Dr. Bishop wants to study how small children respond to scary stimuli. She will explain the procedure to parents and ask them to

sign a permission form. She will have 3-5 year old kids individually come into her lab
Each child will be given a teddy bear to cuddle with. She will then stand a couple of feet behind the child as he or she plays and make a very loud scary sound. She will observe and measure the child's responses. The
child will come back in a few days and be given the teddy bear again, she will measure any reactions the child has to the bear.

Explanation:

This proposal would cause psychological harm to its participents.

I also took the test and that was the correct answer.

Answer:

The correct option is;

The proposal is denied, because participants will likely suffer psychological harm

Explanation:

Among the recommendations in the report on ethical research with children, it is suggested that the following should be observed by researchers;

1) Seeking consent should be a continuous process

2) Contemplate payment forms other than money to allow more discretion on child safety

3) Have two way communication with the child

4) Ask for assent of the child participating in the research

The above APA suggestions where not met by the researcher in the study.

The lettuce is scattered all over the garden.
Lisa [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

Coding is all about logic, since I do not have the actual problem from the website I will guide you on how to solve this.

Since you need to go a certain direction you will need to indicate to the character which direction to go. Next, we need to prevent the player from travelling through a wall, we can accomplish this using an IF/ELSE statement. IF the next block in that direction is a wall then do not move forward, ELSE move forward. We would call this statement every time the player tries to move in any direction. Finally, once we reach the lettuce we need to continue picking it until there is no more. To do this we use a While loop, that checks to see if there is any more lettuce, if there is it will run the code to pick up lettuce, if there is NO more then the While loop will exit. That would be the entire code.

2O POINTS!!!! PLEASE HELP!!! I don't understand!! How does earths magnetic field work? PLEASE EXPLAIN!!!! Also help understandin
fenix001 [56]
The magnetic field is a field of magnetism that is in constant contact with everything and it is stronger at the poles of the earth. compasses point towards magnetic north which is a few miles away from true North. refrigerator magnets are much much stronger then the magnetic field so that is why they stick to metal. I do not know what the domain theory is.

How does an object's position and velocity change as the object accelerates
Morgarella [4.7K]
If an object<span> is slowing down, then its </span>acceleration<span> is in the opposite direction of its motion. ... In Example A, the </span>object<span> is moving in the positive direction (i.e., has a positive </span>velocity<span>) and is speeding up. When an </span>object<span> is speeding up, the </span>acceleration<span> is in the same direction as the </span>velocity<span>.</span>

A particular roller coaster has a mass of 3500 kg, a height of 4.0, and a velocity of 12m/s. What is the potential energy? If ne

Gravitational Potential Energy of an object is calculated by formula ~

\large\boxed{\sf P = mgh}

where,

  • m = mass of the object = 3500 kg

  • g = Acceleration due to gravity = 12 m/s²

  • h = height attained by the object = 4 m

Now, let's calculate its potential energy ~

  • 3500 \times 10 \times 4

  • 140000 \:  \: joules

  • 140 \:  \: kj
