They're just standing there, not going anywhere. Definitely not accelerating. That tells us that the net force on each one must be zero. So whatever push Katie is giving, she must be getting one the same size from Jennifer. And the same goes for the other lady.

What ever push she's giving her friend, her friend is also giving her.

Somehow, they're both pushing with equal forces.

We are given with a force in the middle of a rope measuring 10 m and an angle of sagging of 10 degrees from the horizontal. The tension of the rope is equal to the hypotenuse of the right triangle.

sin 10 = 50 kg * 9.8 m/s2 / T
Tension = 2821. 80 N

Explain why distance has a larger impact on the gravitational force between two objects than mass does.
yKpoI14uk [10]

if the mass of both of the objects is doubled, then the force of gravity between them is quadrupled. Since gravitational force is inversely proportional to the square of the separation distance between the two interacting objects, more separation distance will result in weaker gravitational forces.

The force of gravity on the moon is only 16.6% the force of gravity on Earth. For each item listed in the table below, fill in w
Dmitry [639]

==> Take an Earth weight. Don't forget the unit.

==> Multiply it by 0.166 .

==> The product is its Moon weight. Don't forget the unit.

Example:

If I weigh 1,000 lbs on Earth.

Multiply 1,000 lbs by 0.166 .

I weigh 166 lbs on the Moon
