Answer:

The rate of delivery 7.256 mL/hour for a 40-lb child.

Explanation:

The recommended maintenance dose of aminophylline for children = 1 mg/kg h

Mass of children = 40 lb = 18.14 kg

1 lb = 0.453592 kg

Amount of aminophylline for children to be given to in a hour:

= 1 mg/kg h  × 18.14 kg × 1 h = 18.14 mg

If 10 mL of a 25 mg/mL solution of aminophylline is added to a 100 mL bottle of dextrose injection.

Amount of dose in 10 mL of 25 mg/mL solution of aminophylline.

The value of dose in which 18.14 mg of dose is present in :

\frac{10}{25}\times 18.14 mL=7.256 ml

So, in a an hour 7.256 volume of the solution of aminophylline should delivered to the childrenin an hour.

The rate of delivery 7.256 mL/hour for a 40-lb child.

A 0.5 mol sample of He(g) and a 0.5 mol sample of Ne(g) are placed separately in two 10.0 L rigid containers at 25°C. Each conta
KiRa [710]

Answer:

Helum (He)g will escape faster

Explanation:

the phenomemenon can be explained by the Graham's law of diffusion.

Graham's law of difussion states that the rate of difussion is inversely proportional to the square root of the molecular mass, which means the gas with lower molecular mass will escape faster.

Helium gas has a molecular mass of 4 while Neon has a molecular mass of 10.

rate of diffusion of He/rate of difussion of Ne=√4/10=√0.4=0.63

It means He(g) will move 0.63 times faster than Ne(g) under the same condition

What does the difference in potential energy between the reactants and products represent? A. It represents the energy required
Scrat [10]

Answer:

B. It represents the change in enthalpy for the reaction.

Explanation:

The potential energy diagram for a chemical reaction shows its potential energy plotted against the reaction progress coordinate. The potential energy diagram shows how the potential energy of reactants and products vary as reactants are converted into products.

The potential energy of the system refers to energy stored in the chemical bonds of reactants and products. The difference between the potential energy of reactants and products is known as the enthalpy of reaction. This difference in potential energy may be positive or negative. A positive difference in potential energy implies an endothermic reaction while a negative difference in potential energy implies an exothermic reaction.
