jeyben [28]
From the question you will find that:
one capsule of tamiflu is obtained from 2.6 g of star anise.
1 capsule = 2.6 g tamiflu
? capsules = 155 g tamiflu
by cross multiplication = \frac{(1 x 155)}{2.6} = 59 capsules

The moles of O2 are needed to react completely with 1.00 mol of C₂H₂ is 5 mol , 0.23 moles of C₂H₂ are needed to form 0.46 mol of CO₂ .

What is a Balanced Reaction ?

A balanced reaction is a reaction in which the number of atoms present in the reactants is equal to the number of atoms in the products.

It is given in the question that

the combustion of Acetylene is given by

2 H―C≡C―H + 5 O₂ → 4 CO₂ + 2 H₂O

Given moles of Acetylene = 1 mol

Moles of oxygen needed = 5 mol

as the mole fraction of Acetylene to Oxygen is 1 :5

The mole of Acetylene needed to form 0.46 mol of CO₂ is ?

mole fraction of CO₂ to Acetylene is 4:2

Therefore 0.23 moles of CO₂ is required.

Which of the following would form an anion? He H N B
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer;

Nitrogen (N)

Explanation;

 • Atoms may lose or gain electrons to achieve stability. Metal atoms lose electrons to attain stable configuration, and as a result they form positively charged ions called cations.
 • Non-metals on the other hand gain electrons to attain stable configuration, and as a result form negatively charged ions called anions.
 • Among the elements given above nitrogen (N) gains electrons to form a negatively charged ion called anion.

Extend the aufbau sequence through an element that has not yet been identified, but whose atoms would completely fill 7p orbital
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

Number of electrons = 118

Electronic configuration: [Rn] 5f¹⁴ 6d¹⁰ 7s² 7p⁶

Explanation:

Given: A chemical element that has completely filled 7p orbital.

According to this, the principal occupied electron shell or the valence shell of such an element is 7p.

⇒ the principal quantum number (n) for the valence shell is 7.

∴ this element belongs to the period 7 of the periodic table.

Also, an element that has completely filled p-orbital belongs to the group 18 of the p-block.

Therefore, an element that belongs to the group 7 and period 18 of the periodic table, should have a completely filled 5f, 6d, 7s and 7p orbitals.

Therefore, the electronic configuration should be: [Rn] 5f¹⁴ 6d¹⁰ 7s² 7p⁶

And, the number of electrons = atomic number of radon (Rn) + 14 + 10 + 2 + 6 = 86 + 32 = 118.

Therefore, the given element has atomic number 118 and has the electronic configuration: [Rn] 5f¹⁴ 6d¹⁰ 7s² 7p⁶. Thus the given element can be Oganesson.
