Answer:- \gamma and \alpha radiation.

Explanations:-  Alpha particle is helium nucleus with two protons and two neutrons and so it has +2 charge where as gamma is a form of light, so these are rays and not particles. Since these are rays, the charges for gamma rays is zero means they are neutral.

When alpha particles are passed through electromagnetic field they are repelled by the positive plate and attracted by the negative plate as there is an attraction between opposite charges. So, the line we see towards positive plat is representing an alpha particle radiation.

Since gamma rays are neutral, they are not deflected in electromagnetic field and go straight. So, the other line in the diagram is representing gamma rays radiation.

There are two types of radiations in the image above, one which is deviated towards the negative pole and another which is passing without any deviation. The one which is deviated towards the negative field is Alpha radiation and the one which is not deviated by any pole is known as Gamma radiation.

In Alpha radiation, we get an alpha particle which has +2 charge and therefore it is attracted towards negative pole.

_{Z}^{A}\textrm{X}\rightarrow _{Z-2}^{A-4}\textrm{Y}+_{2}^{4}\textrm{He}

Charge on He molecule is +2 and it is also known as alpha particle.

In Gamma-radiations, a gamma particle is released which does not carry any charge therefore it is not deviated by any of the pole._{Z}^{A}\textrm{X}\rightarrow _{Z}^{A}\textrm{X}+_{0}^{0}\gamma

When a saturated solution of NH4Br dissolved in 100 grams of water is cooled from 60°C to 30°C, how much NH4Br will precipitate?
stepladder [879]

Answer:

m_{precipitated}=24.8g

Explanation:

Hello,

In this case, since at 60 °C, 108 grams of ammonium bromide are completely dissolved in 100 grams of water for a saturated solution, once it is cooled to 30 °C, wherein only 83.2 grams are completely dissolved in 100 grams of water, the following mass will precipitate:

m_{precipitated}=108g-83.2g\\\\m_{precipitated}=24.8g

Best regards.

Which of the following pairs of aqueous solutions will form a precipitate when mixed?
wolverine [178]
I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option B. The reactants calcium sulfide and sodium sulfate will react and form a precipitate which is calcium sulfate since it is only slightly soluble in aqueous solution. Hope this answers the question.

A chemical change is like a physical change because no new substance is formed. Agree or DIsagree and reason why
aleksandrvk [35]
I disagree, because a physical change changes the form, and a chemical change is a process where one or more substances are altered into new substances.
