Mr smith needs to put the paving stone dosnt to rest his arms. He does not want the paving stone to sink deep into the mud . Exp
IceJOKER [234]

The surface of the stone which he should put on the ground is the base.

<h3>What is a Base?</h3>

This is defined as the flat end which is usually located at the bottom with a larger surface area.

The large surface area helps to distribute the forces on all parts thereby preventing it from sinking.

3. A 20 kg lawnmower is pushed by its handle, which makes a 40 degree angle with the horizontal. What
Mkey [24]

<u>13788 J is required to finish the work.</u>

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of lawnmower is 20 kg

Force = 30 N

\text { Angle }(\theta)=40^{\circ}

Displacement ( distance moved )= 20m

The force of 30N is applied along the direction of motion and was applied for the whole 20 m.

The formula of work done for one pass is

\text { Work done }=\text { force } \times \text { displacement } \times \cos \theta

Substituting the given data into the formula,

W=30 \times 20 \times \cos 40^{\circ}

\mathrm{W}=600 \times \cos 40^{\circ}

\mathrm{W}=600 \times 0.766

W = 459.6 J

Work done for one pass = 459.6J

Now, work done for 30 passes is calculated by multiplying the work done for one pass into 30.

\text { Then the work done for } 30 \text { passes is } 459.61 \times 30=13788 \mathrm{J}

Work is done by the person pushing the mower to finish the work is <u>13788 J</u>.

How is the control group and experimental group different
zzz [600]
The control group is the independent variable and the experimental group is the dependent due to change during the experiment. The experimental group will usually rely on another variable in the experiment for change.

Which of the following is the most reasonable weight in units of newtons for an average adult?
Oliga [24]

Answer: The reason weight for average adult is 530N

Explanation: The clearly see this answer, let's convert this weight to kg using F=mg

530=m×9.8

g is a constant of 9.8m/s2

We divide both sides by 9.8 to get

54kg then this weight is reasonable for an average adult.
